Family Fun Fest 2016: Connecting with our Community

Family Fun Fest 2016 proved to be a huge success. We had a lot of fun creating games and decorations for our event. Many organizations participated–THANK YOU! Families from near and far attended–THANK YOU TOO! We hope you had a fun time. This year’s theme was “Read for the Win,” a play on the upcoming summer Olympics. We are using this theme for our Summer Reading Program, taking place in June and July.
Family Fun Fest (FFF,) held the first Wednesday morning of Palm Springs Unified School District’s spring break, is a way for the Palm Springs Public Library to share information about the Library, including services and programs we offer. FFF is a way for us to show children that the Library is a fun place too. Through the generosity of our Friends of the Palm Springs Library, every child or teen who attends FFF receives a free book. Didn’t make it to this year’s Family Fun Fest? We will see you next year!
