September: New Programs Just for You!

September begins our new series of lectures, story times, and other programs.  We have added new children’s programming including Pajamarama, a Wednesday evening family program and Bilingual Story Time on Thursday afternoons. Check our calendar for details:  Calendar of Events

For adults, we have a wonderful lineup in September.  We have partnered with Agua Caliente Cultural Museum to bring author Gordon Johnson to the Library.  He will speak about his book Fast cars and frybread, Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30 pm.  The first Saturday of the month is the Palm Springs Genealogical Society lectures at 10:00 a.m.  We have also partnered with the Palm Springs Historical Society to bring you “A Pictorial Journey into the Past.”

Our computer classes and book clubs continue this month.  We have computer basics classes in the mornings and afternoons to suit your schedule.  We also offer morning, afternoon, and evening book clubs each month.  The Wine Book Club, our evening club meets the last Wednesday of the month at its new home, Azul Tapas Lounge.

We hope that you find what you like at the Palm Springs Public Library.  Discover, enrich, enjoy, connect!  Make the Library a part of your life.
