Be Creative! Win a Kindle, iPod Shuffle or Leapster Learning System at the Palm Springs Public Library.

To celebrate Fall the Palm Springs Public Library is encouraging creativity!  During the month of October everyone is invited to come to the Library and get an entry form for the Pumpkin Coloring and Drawing contest. There will be one grand prize winner in each of three age categories:  Youth in grades K—5, Tweens and Teens in grades 6-12 and Adults (out of high school and age 18+). Entry forms are available now, at the Library only.

Create your own unique pumpkin art!  The entry form contains a blank outline of a pumpkin, so it is up to the individual to determine how they will transform the outline into a fall masterpiece.  The outline can be colored, drawn, painted, or affixed with decorations to the paper; creativity is the key!  However, the original entry form needs to be used and each entrant’s contact information must be printed clearly on the back of the form to be a valid entry.

The grand prizes are spectacular!  A LeapFrog® Leapster® Learning Game System will be awarded to the grand prize K—5th grade winner.  An Apple iPod shuffle 2 GB (4th Generation) will be awarded to the Tween/Teen 6th—12th grade grand prize winner. And finally the adult (out of high school and age 18+) grand prize winner will receive a Kindle Wireless Reading Device, Wi-Fi, with a 6″ display.

Entries, when submitted, become the property of the Library and will be displayed in the Library during the month.  All entries must be received before or by 5 PM on Friday, Oct. 29th for prize consideration.  Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email.
